The destination

A shallow turquoise bay on the wild side of Dugi Otok.

Sakarun is famous for the purity of its water and a wide belt of white sand stretching almost a kilometre long. The bathing area is huge and shallow, perfect for families with small children, and pine forest comes right down to the shore. A handful of beach bars handle the rest.

Nine hours, one perfect beach.

All times are approximate and may shift slightly with the weather and sea conditions. Safety is our number one priority, tours are weather dependent and we'll reschedule or refund in full if we have to call it off.

BOARDING IN ZADAR

The crew meets you in the city harbour next to the bridge. Boarding opens at 8:30, bring snacks, a swimsuit and a good mood.

09:00

DEPARTURE FROM ZADAR

We leave at 9:00 sharp. If needed, the boat makes a brief stop in the port of Draženica.

09:00 - 11:00

CRUISE THROUGH THE ARCHIPELAGO

Sail through the beautiful landscape of the north-western Zadar archipelago, islets, channels and open sea.

11:00 - 11:30

ARRIVAL IN BOŽAVA + TRANSFER

We enter the small harbour of Božava where a bus is waiting. The group transfer to Sakarun beach takes about 10 minutes.

11:30 – 15:00

Free time on Sakarun

Four hours of pure leisure on a kilometre-long crescent of white sand. The bay is shallow, family friendly, with cafés for refreshments.

Transfer back & lunch on board

Return transfer to Božava and a relaxed lunch served on the boat as we get ready to sail back.

16:00

Departure from Božava

We head back to Zadar, around 1.5 hours, with a possible stop in Draženica bay.

18:00

Return to Zadar
